Development of the Junior LAOH enables us to show these young women what their mothers, fathers, and other family members are doing by enrolling in such an organization as the Ancient Order of Hibernians. It also enables us to educate these young women on Irish history and culture such as The Great Hunger, The Jeanie Johnston, and many other important events in Irish history that are not taught in a classroom. More importantly, it enables the AOH to develop future leaders within the organization who understand our commitments to community, family and our Irish Heritage.
